DESCRIPTION:

This 'khaden,' or Tibetan sleeping rug, draws large colorful lotus blossoms and stylized vegetal tendrils against a deep indigo ground. The wool is dense and soft, the product of high altitude Tibetan sheep. The lotus blossom, symbolizing enlightenment, has a deep and sacred meaning to Tibetan Buddhists.
